Worked with many contractors previously, and I've got to say that Altitude hands down was top notch. Out of 5... companies that I interviewed, they were the ones that stood out from the start. Had great work performed due to hail damage, they performed roof replacement, couple windows, skylights, gutters, and a couple odds and in's.
Jack was the assigned PM on this project, and was extremely responsive. I was fairly busy with work and a newborn during this time, and he did not hesitate to respond no matter what day and time.

Altitude Contracting did a fantastic job on two projects, paint and gutters, on my house remodel in Idaho Springs. ... Kyle was fantastic to work with in coming out to give me a bid, bringing Saul for the paint estimate and looking over the project details. Kyle got me an estimate within a few days and broke it down so that we could choose some or all of the project now or in the future. He even recommended alternative approaches to the facia and soffit areas next to the gutter to help save money since this was not an insurance fix and I was paying direct from my pocket. Kyle, Saul and the teams were both professional and during the COVID-19 lockdown, they were respectful of social distancing and the crew wore masks when interacting with me for questions.
Being up in the mountains it is difficult to find companies that will come up for multiple days, work around the weather and make sure everything is done to our satisfaction. Kyle touched base frequently to check on the schedule, responded quickly to both emails and texts, and stopped by the project for progress, and shared pictures with me as well. Saul came to check on progress and reassess weather delays.
I appreciated the details on the written contract, adjustments to accommodate changes along the way (had to add a gutter extension to accommodate for better drainage) and the bids came in about low to mid-range against the multiple quotes I received. I was pushy to get the paint done quickly because the remodel had a lot of raw wood that I did not want to leave exposed to the elements for a long period of time. Saul and his team did their best to get it done quickly.
Were there minor issues, yes, but they got resolved quickly with no complaint, including spending extra time to make sure every nook and cranny was painted - which was difficult due to a lot of intricate wood work detailing. Another example, the extra gutter downspout we had to add onsite they ran out of the color I had picked and used plain white gutters they had on hand, then painted it the same color as the house afterwards. Given the option to come back later with another colored piece of aluminum siding, I chose to just paint it since there were other gutters already getting painted and this downspout was at the back of the house.
Overall, I am very pleased with the work, and I get a lot of compliments on the paint and the gutters have worked well so far.read more

The last hail storm hit our newest Denver property very unexpectedly. With research we found Altitude had the best... reviews. Thank God for google! The General Contractor Jack was very thorough and even ran magnets himself after the job was complete. Couldn’t ask for a better job, from start to finish.read more

Jack and his crew did a fantastic job. We had him check our roof for hail damage when they were out working on our... neighbor's roof. Jack took pictures, talked me through the process with insurance, and even came out a second time to walk the roof with our insurance rep when they denied our claim the first time around. In the end, he helped us make sure we got it all paid for through insurance. He was super responsive throughout the process. When it came time for the roof work, the crew worked HARD for two solid days and then cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks great. We are really pleased with all of it, and Jack was great to work with!read more

When purchasing a home, Altitude Contracting came out to perform a routine roof inspection when no other contractor... would. Kyle and his team went above and beyond expectations to deliver the information and confidence needed to make an educated decision. Having their expertise on my side made the home buying process significantly less stressful, thanks for that!

Jack stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process of getting our house repaired. He was very helpful... in relaying necessary information for insurance purposes. As a renter with a leaking roof and a landlord in another state, it was great to have a terrific project manager. Jack... came and did a very thorough assessment of the roof and identified several problems. He provided me with a detailed estimate, which included photographs. I was able to send to the landlord and start the process. Jack worked with the landlord and the insurance company to get us a new roof, gutters, and fix the leaks around our fireplace. The team is so hardworking, organized, and professional. They clean up everything every evening before they leave. I would highly recommend them. It is nice to just relax and know they are going to do a great job.read more

I've had my roof redone 3 times now in the past 10 years. Lots of hail here. Altitude Contracting, with Nick Utesch... as our point person, is by far the best company we've worked with. The other 2 were fantastic, but Altitude Contracting went far above and beyond. If you have the privilege of working with this group, and especially with Nick, you'll never want to work with a different company again.

I am always impressed by others who are dedicated to excellence! This is the best way to describe our overall... experience with Altitude Contracting in every aspect.
Our home was damaged with the Centennial, CO hailstorm in the Spring of 2018; wherein our roof, gutters, windows, siding and fencing were damaged. Jack stepped in and took care of replacing our roof, and Project Managing all other aspects of our extensive external home repairs. In my mind, this was not a small job, and I was concerned as the damage was valued in excess of $30K. Yet, he jumped in happily and PM'd every aspect of this project delivering a perfectly restored home on time, within budget, and with the highest quality possible. In addition,Altitude interfaced directly with our Insurance Adjuster, making everything painless and easy for me. We are thrilled with the results, and I give my highest recommendation to anyone considering having Altitude Contracting or Jack alone, perform any work for them. They do what they say they will do, with total Quality and Integrity.

Altitude replaced our roof and gutters that were damaged from a hail storm a while back. We are very pleased with the... work and results. The roofers (Johnny’s crew) were professional, polite, efficient and clean. David, our Project manager, kept us up to speed at every turn of the project and was readily available to address any questions or concerns we had. Alex, the owner, even stopped by on at least 2 occasions to check on the project, bring breakfast for the crew (pretty cool) and answer any questions I had. Good owner, good company, highly recommend.read more

We were looking for a solution to the lack of ventilation in our detached garage when we contacted Altitude... Contracting. I initially left a message and was contacted quite soon thereafter by Jack.
I had a few ideas and a lot of questions, but no real knowledge, about what it would take to get some sort of ventilation installed in our garage. Jack answered all of my questions professionally and thoroughly. I emailed a few pictures of the roof and interior structure to Jack and that was all that was needed! We discussed the options available and ultimately went with a ridge vent and under-shingle vents to act as intakes.
Scheduling was lined up with no issues at all. We had a minor delay due to weather, (gotta love Colorado weather!) but the reschedule date was sorted out in no time.
On the install date, the crew was extremely courteous and professional.
They confirmed the work to be done and immediately set to the task. The work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. And the cleanup and haul-away was extremely thorough.
I can't thank Jack and his install crew enough for all the help in getting the much needed ventilation for my garage sorted out and installed! The finished work look fantastic!

Taylor and his crew did an excellent and very professional job for us. Even the county inspector commented to me about... the high quality materials and workmanship they provided. They were flexible with timing needed by the insurance company and they worked with the adjuster to make sure everything was covered and completed. They did the tear off of the old roof, new roof installation, and inspections all in one day. Can't recommend them highly enough...would give them 6 stars if I could.read more

These guys know what they are doing!! I had no clue how badly my roof needed replacing, and given that I am getting... ready to put my home on the market soon Jack couldn’t have stopped by at a better time. I really appreciated that he wasn’t too pushy like some sales people can be… easy to talk to and very understanding. Jack did the full inspection and put together an estimate with tons of photo evidence of the damage for free, all before I even expressed firm interest in a contract.
